Finally got some time to take some pics of my favorite wildebeests...been good times relaxing here at the mansion---well and of course editing photos in the evenings...maybe here soon after finishing up the editing of two weddings, I might have a little break from that as well.
Red Bobo is new for Christmas, Orange Bobo is an old friend...but apparently they travel in pairs and have been a big hit lately...no joke--whenever you see one Bobo--the next one is right beside it...Brinkley can actually fit both of them into his mouth and you find these guys in random places all over the house.
That's a whole lot of dog on one bed...

So I'm doing a trial of Animoto, love it, obsessed with it to be quite honest, want to marry it, you get the idea. They definitely know how to make an awesome video and it was so easy to do, it's redonk.
Here are my first ones! May take a moment or two for something to show up below this text if your computer is a little slow---so don't run off if nothing is down there right away. :)

When mpix was having an 8x10 print sale, we stocked up and I did this to the fireplace the other night. DON'T freak out you brick preservers...it's just double sided sticky tabs holding them up there, nothing permanent. Obviously there's still some more prints to be bought to finish the bottom...but I love how this turned out.
It totally makes us smile. :)

So we've got a promotion going on over on the website to get more new clients and say thanks to the clients who referred them...will post over there how many everyone has up to this point!
Julie says to add...GO LENNYE, GO!! She's rooting for ya! :) It's unfortunate that you all missed the little cheer that went with that. ;)

So two of my fellow followers...two of five :) have told me that they might have to stop checking in on the blog if I don't get busy on some updates...so I thought I better do a quick one before heading out to a fun Friday night video night!
Here is a "just because" present that I received from Bean this week...AWESOME! We love tulips...well and sunflowers and gerber daisies here at the mansion! :) Giving and receiving "just because" presents rocks. Speaking of those types of gifts...For breakfast this week, I've been eating some yummy powdered donuts from a nice surprise from Reese-cup this week. First she's saving me and my peeps from tornadoes, next she's supplying me with yummy stuff!
And also a photo of the first bloom we've had in the yard this year. Sorry that's all I've got for now...maybe I need to start taking suggestions on what my blog buddies want to see me write about on here, because the inspiration just isn't freely flowing in that department these days.
I do promise to try and come up with something more substantial after life slows down a little---hopefully sooner than later!

So Sunday it rained just enough to force us to cancel four Easter mini sessions and one regular session at Indian Springs with two little boys we haven't met yet...excited though---there will be a red wagon!! :)
BUT that gave us time to take some fun pictures JUST BECAUSE..wow, I remember those days...the JUST BECAUSE pictures. hee! Once school is out, there will be more time for those pics and I'm excited!!
NO NO NO we did not buy these rabbits to keep. We think rabbits are cute, fun to photograph, but not for pets. They annoy the hell out of us...they are like those people whom no matter how many conversations you've had with them, it always feels like the first. Like you are always starting over at square one again. Rabbits are just too darn nervous and their personalities seem to me like they need anti-anxiety meds. We made sure to have at least one home lined up for them before the purchase.
What an interesting purchasing experience that was too. Ever been to a live animal auction? Whew. Smelly. There were chickens, peacocks, turkeys, goats, cows, rabbits, any kind of farm bird you can think of...no pigs though. Baby pigs would have been fun to see. We got there around 7pm and they didn't even start auctioning off the first rabbits until about 1:00am. FREAKIN' CRAZY!!! We got home at 2:00am in the morning from a frickin' auction?! It's kinda hard hanging out there knowing that people are just buying the animals to breed more and resale instead of buying them to bring inside and love. Reason 1,001 I would never make it on a farm. :)
I think we got some pretty darn nice looking buns dontcha think? That tiny one, oh he is a heart melter. Fits perfectly in your converse sneaker.
Even if you are feeling like a grump box, this has to make you smile:
Check out his heart shaped eye patch!
Two of our favorite boys came to visit the bunnies---the pic I got of Roo didn't turn out--but here's some Bean got of Rhino. He calls this little guy "Fred." Well he calls the big one "Fred" too! :)
