Perfection...

Friends who know us so well and feel comfy enough that they know exactly what cabinet to go to for something or have their own special spot on the living room floor...THAT'S the picture I should have had growing up when they asked me to picture or describe what the ideal adult life would be...the perfect life. It may be simple to some, but I find happiness and comfort in it. You don't need white picket fences when you have this. THIS, is perfection.

What about friends who know your Burger King order? Or those who call you when you've just retched in a Wendy's cup? (Gosh - is my life THAT much about fast food?) *mad love*

I must agree. On Saturday I went to Macon to attend a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party (one of my good friends parents). I realized as we were partying in the yard and people came from across Georgia that the best thing we can have is friends and LOTS of them. The close kind who aren't afraid to look through your cabnets to get what they want.

I was amazed at how we stress over putting on a spread and this was simple and fun. Mrs. Dent let Gabe get in the golf cart and take off, he got it stuck and right as I'm fixing to yell at him, she says, "Don't you say a word." I need that advice sometimes and as Sarah B.B. knows it took him all of 1/2 a second to figure out how to get unstuck. I came home and realized since I'm short on family, I need all the friends I can get.

Good friends are better than anything you can have really...and they are extra special because they choose you and you choose them!
