The Weekend
Still not in much of a mood to "talk" here, but will post details from the weekend. It's been a great one. Movies and shopping with Mom and Aunt Peg, videos on the sofa with my five favorite peeps. Four with four legs, one with two. Watched our two netflix movies, Annie Hall (Finally seeing this one which is surprising since I'm a HUGE Diane Keaton fan, there is something about her.) Liked it pretty well, except found it odd that Woody Allen's nerdy, spastic character (much like himself in real life) kept pushing women away based on how he felt so much more intelligent and better than them somehow. I found that more annoying than comical. Also watched Griffin and Phoenix which was GREAT. Wanted to cry an entire day after watching, but that is because it was so moving and dealt with what is probably my biggest fear in life--not being able to do the things I want to do most in life with the ones that mean the most to me before their life ends or mine. Having to watch ones I cherish the most, slipping away, leaving slowly. I'm a mess at "goodbyes." Brutal. The movie is too sweet not to see though.
They were excited to be invited to the gas station
Julie got some great shots of the most ginormous praying mantis we've ever seen. We used a stick to get him onto the seat of the lawnmower. He was pretty creepy. Especially how he'd turn his head to look at you when you moved around him.
I think he's doing the robot.
The best
And the best smile I know
