Def-Def-Definitely Not a Party...yeah, definitely not a party...

So, I know this looks all white-trash-ish and stuff, but it's kind of humorous too! The dirty laundry pile is never this big because I wash clothes regularly, but the clean pile is almost always this huge, because whereas I love to wash clothes, I LOATHE putting them away! So, we just happily wash and wash, and then one day (when the closets should be good and empty) we decide we'll move the clothes from the laundry room and take them to a bed to fold. When it's time for this, Julie says it's time for a 'clothes folding party.' Hmph, I do NOT call THIS disaster a party. A party involves cupcakes, chocolate treats, dips and chips, a round of ass whooping Cranium (if you're on Sarah's team that is) :) and the occasional helium balloon that escapes to the ceiling...THIS HERE, in no- way, shape or form constitutes a party.

I think this time we hit an all time high with the superior height of the laundry pile. I'm quite proud of its mighty girth and stature! ha!
That was Sunday and I'm happy to report that THE PARTY IS OVER...till next time.

I think we have all been there, my mom calls it a folding party too! When things get a little piled up around here I just pop in a movie or watch some good trash t.v. and mindlessly fold.

I have the exact same thing going on here. Folding clothes is my fiance's only household chore, and he really puts it off. We've always got baskets of clean laundry lying around

i found a serious difference in our personalities!
i have everything folded and organized and constantly redo my boyfriends folding because it doesn't look pretty to me. i have issues. i even have a best friend who waits until i come over to fold her fitted sheets because i'm anal retentive and fold them the way martha stewart taught me. (she also taught me how to wear an ankle bracelet with pride but that's for another post!)
i can spend the whole day reorganizing things. and now that i have a newborn, i have. imagine the tiniest clothes in the world that you gotta somehow fit into a one bedroom apartment. laundry can take me all day and although it doesn't feel like a party...i sure feel good when i'm done. if i lived near you...i would fold all your and julie's laundry!
wow...long comment.

OF COURSE you want to be on my team. That's because I can make things like atomic bombs out of the cranium clay. And because Mama Lee is psychic & will understand what I am making. Sheesh.

Oh, and I TAGGED you, so you have to come by the blog & see what to do...
