First Pictures of 2008
We played a fun game of naming off all the "firsts" of 2008...first time in the car, first time eating lunch, maybe even pointed out the first passing of gas...may have been me, I plead the fifth! ;) Here are my first pictures of 2008 that I took on a drive we went on to Covington this afternoon...the first of many random photo-taking day trips we are beginning in 2008! I'm only posting my favorite Photo-shopped ones, you can see the rest by clicking on the Flickr link and as usual you can click on them to make them larger and see more details. Hope everyone had a great day!

Fun pictures!! Looks like someone is enjoying their new camera! :)
You've stumped me! I go to Covington often and nothing looks familar. When I go I notice the houses and the square. Funny how two people can see totally different things. Your photos make me think of New York side streets.
OMG, like, those are SO good! :) Seriously, count me in for a photo field trip sometime--I'll behave, I promise.
Lennye, it might not seem familiar because I changed the heck out of some stuff on Photoshop....the orange house with blue door is actually a faded red color with green door---some old building that used to be the old jail. The numbers are on the train engine that sits pretty close to the old jail downtown. I changed the colors on those too. They were just a little too plain before ;) Nat, we'll have to go on an outing, since you promise to be good and all! Thanks everyone for the mad props! YO!
I'll leave all my potential comments on the actual content of the post unsaid... ;) However, the photos are great! I've found some cool stuff local to me to take pictures of, too, whenever you're read. Lindsey is just no fun in that department. :) Happy New Year, lovies!
This is the part of your blog where I typed in a comment....wonder what button I hit when i finished...AND I wonder who got my lovely comment....ANYWAY, my comment went something like this.....I totally agree with SB's comment...I agreed with her....my thoughts were..."What was she doing in the hood....Doesnn't she know how dangerous that could be?" THEN you told Lynne where you took the pics and I was relieved....They really are cool and colorful pics....all taken with your new camera.....Good job kiddo!!!! Lee
Wow! I love them! :) I love the next to last red building with the window the most.
Oh! I love them!!! I particularly like the next to last one - gorgeous photos!
