We found out today that because Lucy hasn't had all of her shots, she can't stay at the kennel like the others were going to while we were hanging out in Mississippi for two nights during Spring Break. For her own well being and other dogs around her, she has to have her full round of shots. She's got a few more weeks before the next round. We thought about getting someone to babysit...but without her being fully potty trained and without all her shots, we really don't want to ask anyone to do that, plus just feel like she's too young for it. So, we've got to cancel hotel reservations and Mom and Aunt Peggy don't want to go without us...so they are disappointed--but I look at it this way, sometimes you have to make sacrifices for those you love. Apparently this just wasn't the right time and hopefully we'll have another opportunity when it is the right time. Julie is going to keep the vacation time and we'll just have some fun watching videos and playing with our mini soccer team! :)

I call this bigger crew our 'soccer team' since attempting to take them all into the vet's office this weekend...a lady gave me a little laugh and I said, "yeah--we're trying for a soccer team!" Get this...(I'm a big fan of these.....obviously) there was a freakin' GOAT in the vet's office! He was staring down Brinkley like he was going to pounce on him...it was craziness. The goat was named 'Helen' and she had mites!! Also four dogs with two people at the vet was craziness as well, but we got our little system down where we traded off dogs from the car to the vet with each other, and it worked great! :) Everyone slept well that evening!
