I Cry

I cry every single time I watch "Stepmom"...it's so sweet and torturous. The thought of one mom being sad that she won't be there to see her children grow up and then the thought of the stepmom feeling like she may never be enough. The mom not accepting her because she's just scared to lose her kids and then eventually accepting her in the end. Children having to be without their mom. Whew. Gets me every time.

And for some reason, this particular channel (no, not Hallmark or Lifetime surprisingly) really likes to get you while you're down. I've now cried at the fact that Polar Bears are in danger and dying all the time because they have no ice or food because of the actions of us. And then for added fun they threw in a dog abuse commercial with the sentimental music of Sarah McLachlan. I firmly believe there's a VERY special place for anyone who hurts an animal.

It's just a public service announcement to stay away from ABC family, unless you just need to clean out your sinuses! :)

Okay, I can't watch Stepmom either, or the Merle Streep movie One True Thing. Moms with cancer get me everytime. Personally, I thank my mother and grandmother for never saying anything negative about my step-mom, they would have been justified in anything they said. Instead they gave me a relationship that was able to fill the void left when they died.
